The closing event of the communication campaign was the Round Table “The Parliament of all European Citizens – from the Treaty of Rome to the Challenges of Enlargement and the Constitution for Europe”, at which representatives of the citizens and of the specific target groups debated on the political role of the EP in the United Europe in the context of the Reform Treaty, the role and obligations of the Bulgarian MEPs, the reasons for participation in EP elections in 2009 and on other EP related issues .

After the closing of the campaign a press conference was organised for the evaluation of the impact of the action and of the achievement of the objectives. Press conferences accompanied the Info Days in the 27 district cities. All the events had full media coverage. Publications in the local newspapers, interviews and participation in local TV talk-shows promoted the initiative at local level.

For the awareness raising purposes of the communication campaign a Guide “The European Parliament” as elaborated and published which was disseminated at the time of the Info Days and the Round Table debate as a part of the Information Package for the participants, together with the other information and promotional materials and gadgets.
