| Project title: "Active and Stable Civil Society NGOs for more Efficient and Transparent Administration"

Project objectives:
Main objective: Capacity strengthening of the civil society NGOs, registered in Sofia and in Sofia region through investments in human capital.
Specific objectives:
- Management capacity strengthening and improvement of the quality of the human resources of the Association for European Partnership and achievement of wide application of the principles of good governance;
- Strengthening the management capacity of the NGOs in the target regions;
- Improvement the efficiency and quality of the dialogue between the civil society NGOs and the administrative authorities by introduction of a mechanism for more efficient collaboration with the public and local administration;
- Specifying the number of the NGOs, registered in the target regions;
Target groups:
- AEP staff
- NGOs, registered in Sofia and in Sofia region
- Sectoral organizations and branch associations
- NGOs in the 6 planning regions of Bulgaria
- Public, district and municipal administrations
Project duration: one year
Planned activities:
- Setting-up "NGO Networks for Collaboration" in the 6th planning regions of Bulgaria
- Training of trainers on 5 training modules for the AEP staff
- Training of representatives of the AEP in ALDA for exchange of experience and ideas
- Development of an electronic Information Pool of the NGOs, registered in the target regions on the web site of the AEP www.aep-bg.org
- Study and analysis of the NGO management capacity in the target regions and preparation of methodological materials aiming at its improvement
- Creation of an on-line debate forum on the web site of the AEP www.aep-bg.org
- Training of representatives of the NGOs in the target regions by a virtual "College for NGOs" created on the web site of the AEP www.aep-bg.org
- Organization of 6 round tables in the 6 planning regions for the NGOs in the respective region
- Organization of a closing conference in Sofia and adoption of a Code of Ethics for the NGOs
